Lying here again at three something a.m. in the wee hours of the morning. This is the time to be sleeping, but discomfort brings insomia into bed with this tired body… now laying next to a slumbering husband in the dark. Wide awake, with no sleep!
So, it’s time to get up for awhile, take something for the pain and then try to go back to bed. Still, no sleep. Legs jerking from some mild neuropathy, and some imflamed joints nag to awakeness. Well, this must be the perfect time to try the chamomile tea blend sitting unopened in the cupboard. Perhaps sweetened up with a spoonful of honey and stirred up with some milk, warm and soothing.
Someone once said that warm milk and honey helps bring sleep.
